Tyler, the Creator – Flower Boy

Definitely a story of redemption, Tyler’s latest album towers above his entire prior discography. Whereas his previous albums largely looked like a steep decline in quality on a line chart, “Flower Boy” totally reinvents his methods. He’s all over the place; not one-dimensional like previous outings. The beats are solid, the rhymes are a lot more inventive, and overall, Tyler seems to want to be heard. The best part is, he’s only 26 years of age, and if “Flower Boy” is any indication of a continuing path, then the sky’s the limit.
